This supporting product is only necessary if you are required to permit your Studio Shed. Includes: site, architectural, energy, structural, and electrical plans compliant with local codes for wind, snow, seismic, and soil. Exclusions include, but are not limited to: Applications, Submittal, Fees, Deferred Submittals (i.e. sprinklers/solar), or work out of Studio Shed scope. For projects smaller than 120 square feet typically no permits are needed. However, you should check with your local building authority if you are not sure. Because every site is different, other than for our pre-configured selections, Studio Shed does not directly quote the cost of foundations or pour concrete. However, this is a service that the majority of our professional installers provide, and they will work with you directly to get the best foundation for your site in an efficient way. A self-supported joisted floor system similar to a deck is the most popular method and consists of simple poured or pre-cast concrete piers. For small, unfinished units, a 4×4 skid foundation may suffice. Our ProAssembly network will take delivery of your Studio Home Carriage House and assemble the complete structure including garage and living space. Windows are pre-installed into the panels.
